Setup Guide

Set up Meta Quest Link following Meta's official instructions.

Wired connection:

  1. Connect Quest to PC with USB 3.0 cable
  2. Accept the connection prompt in your headset
  3. Enable Quest Link from the Quick Settings menu

Wireless (Air Link):

  1. Ensure PC and Quest are on the same 5 GHz WiFi network
  2. Enable Air Link in Quest settings
  3. Connect to your PC from the Air Link menu

Step 2: Launch IAPM

  1. Start IAPM Desktop on your PC
  2. IAPM automatically detects your Quest headset
  3. Put on your headset
  4. Select IAPM from your Quest Link apps

Step 3: Enter the Environment

Once connected, you'll enter your IAPM grid in full VR. Use your Quest controllers to navigate and interact.

AI Copilot

The AI Copilot listens by default for natural conversation. Simply speak to ask questions or request assistance while exploring your application.

To mute the AI Copilot, use the mute toggle in the IAPM UI.

Troubleshooting

Issue Solution
Quest not detected Restart Quest Link, ensure cable is USB 3.0
Air Link unstable Move closer to router, use 5 GHz band
Controllers not tracked Check battery levels, lighting conditions
Poor performance Lower graphics quality in IAPM Preferences
Audio issues Check Quest audio output settings

Tips for Best Experience

  • Use Air Link for freedom of movement without cable tangle
  • Adjust guardian to give yourself room to move
  • Enable passthrough if you need to check your desk
  • Take breaks - VR can cause fatigue during long sessions
